The Problem
How do you make a person feel like they are physically catching a fastball from a major league pitcher leveraging sight, sound and touch to make a complete experience?
Role // UX Strategy, UX Design, VR Game Design

The Solution
An immersive VR experience that connects the physical world to the digital world using a virtual pitcher and a real catchers mitt soaked in custom haptic devices.
UX Strategy + Solution Exploration
Gear up, choose a pitch, catch the pitch if you can.
Keeping the interaction simple was key to make it feel natural and reduce the learning curve for the overall consumer experience. By creating a physical representation of home plate the consumer is already connected to the experience so when they are in our VR world there is less of a disconnect. The gloves position in the physical space is then represented in our virtual stadium and they receive a haptic response upon successful catches.
